Megan Thee Stallion has signalled that new music is on the way, teasing an upcoming album titled "Act: III" in an Instagram post shared on Monday 10 August. The announcement, which included a new tattoo reading "Act: III" and a caption ending with "I'm Back", appears to mark the return of her Tina Snow persona and has generated excitement among fans anticipating fresh material before the end of the year.

The 31-year-old rapper has referenced the project since as far back as December 2024, when she wrote on X that "Act 3" would arrive in 2025, though no release date has yet been confirmed. Her last full album, Megan, came out in June 2024 and reached number three on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 equivalent album units, followed by the Act: II deluxe edition later that year. She has not released a solo single in 2026 but has featured on Bossman Dlow's "Motion Party" remix and Juvenile's Hot 100 hit "B.B.B.", while also recently celebrating a Diamond certification for her 2020 hit "WAP" with Cardi B.
