Meghan Markle’s half-brother a ‘person of interest’ in Thomas Markle Sr.’s child porn investigation

Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has been named a person of interest in the Philippines’ investigation into alleged child sexual abuse material linked to their father, Thomas Markle Sr. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said there were indications Markle Jr. might also be involved, but stressed he is not being treated as a suspect.

Remulla said investigators found about 7,500 files depicting underage males and females on devices among Markle Sr.’s belongings, and that the FBI is helping trace device registrations; six phones reportedly came from the US. The investigation began after Markle Jr. allegedly found images in boxes at his father’s former home in Cebu and handed them to police. Markle Sr. denies the allegations, while Meghan has said she is deeply disturbed and that earlier allegations contributed to her estrangement from her family.
