Nashville-based artist Logan Hornyak, who performs as Melaina Kol, has released a new single, “Idola”, ahead of his forthcoming album. The track is described as a delicate, unusual piece of glitch-folk and offers another preview of Hornyak’s first release for Philadelphia label Julia’s War.

Hornyak said “Idola” is among the album’s more lyrical songs, exploring growing old with someone and the fear of continually disappointing them because of expectations about love. The album, titled Okay that’s a great idea because if I do that then, is due for release on 14 August via Julia’s War.
