Melania Trump met Russian and Ukrainian representatives at the White House after a humanitarian operation in Oleshky, in Ukraine’s Kherson region. The meeting followed a temporary ceasefire that enabled the evacuation and was described by both sides as having been organised with her key mediation.

Lantratova and Lubinets helped evacuate several hundred people, and the pause in fighting lasted several days.
