Bloodstock has announced its first acts for its 2027 festival, with Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White set to headline the Ronnie James Dio main stage. The announcement was made while the 2026 event was under way, giving the Derbyshire metal festival an early promotional boost for its next edition.

The festival will take place at Catton Park from 5 to 8 August 2027. Mercyful Fate will headline Friday, Electric Callboy Saturday and Motionless In White Sunday; the latter says the appearance will be its first European festival headline set and its only UK show of 2027. Other announced acts include Madball, Gaerea, Kanonenfieber, Dethklok, Acid Bath, Green Lung and Children of Bodom.
