Mesh, Automattic’s CRM for everyone, comes to Android

TechCrunch · 2 hours ago

Automattic-owned relationship manager Mesh has launched on Android, extending its personal CRM tools to phones, tablets and foldable devices. The release matters because it brings private contact management, relationship notes and reminders to more users, while supporting Automattic’s longer-term plan to link Mesh more closely with its messaging app Beeper.

The Android app includes split-screen and pop-up views, keyboard shortcuts, search, synchronised data and wallpaper-matched widgets. Mesh’s Nexus AI, currently in early access, can answer network-related questions; the company is also testing voice controls and improved business-card scanning. The service is free for up to 1,000 contacts, with paid tiers beyond that, and about 70% of customers currently use it for business purposes.

  • Mesh personal CRM launches on Android devices.
  • Android version adds multitasking and synchronisation features.
  • Automattic plans deeper AI and Beeper integration.
