Met Office issue urgent yellow fog warning for four parts of Yorkshire

The Met Office issued a yellow fog warning for parts of South Yorkshire, with dense fog expected to disrupt travel before gradually clearing on Sunday morning. Drivers and passengers may face slower journeys and delays, while flights could be cancelled.

The warning covers Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham and runs from midnight until 10am. Visibility has fallen below 50 metres in some places; travellers were advised to check road conditions and ensure their fog lights work.
