Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale delivered an inspirational speech at the opening of a new exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, celebrating the contribution of women to heavy metal. The event marked the launch of "Women In Metal: You Will Know My Name", which honours female artists who have pushed boundaries and challenged convention within the genre, underscoring growing recognition of women's role in a scene long dominated by men.

The exhibition opened on Friday 10 July at the Rock Hall. Hale and her Halestorm bandmate Joe Hottinger performed an acoustic set, after which Hale paid tribute to her musical heroes and urged girls and women to "make noise, start the band". In her address she reflected on her love of rock and metal, saying the genres "never asked permission" and were "rebellious, fearless" and emotional, and that metal "was never built for moulds" but for "the people who refuse to fit inside them".
