Mexican disco-funk band Midnight Generation have released “Norway”, a new song inspired by a tour stop in a small Norwegian fishing village. The track explores an impossible love and the hope of returning to Norway with someone special, while its synth-led disco sound draws on French Touch and late-1970s and 1980s influences.

The accompanying video was filmed in one continuous wide shot at a park in Texcoco, near Mexico City, with a vintage GMC G-Series van prominently featured. The band are completing a North American tour supporting Empire of the Sun and Polo & Pan, with a Hollywood Bowl performance scheduled for 8 October before the tour ends in Las Vegas the next night.
