Mexican Indie Standouts Ed Maverick and Little Jesus Join Forces on Psychedelic New Single “SAHUARO”: Watch

Ed Maverick has released “SAHUARO”, a psychedelic new single made with Mexico City indie rock band Little Jesus. The collaboration brings together two prominent acts from Mexico’s independent music scene and continues Maverick’s run of new releases ahead of his next full-length project.

The five-minute-plus track combines acoustic and electric guitars, Mellotron, synthesizers, drums and a growing string arrangement, with hypnotic rhythms and a recurring chorus drawing on desert imagery, magic and introspection. It is part of a double-single release, paired with “en las buenas y en las malas”; the project follows a series of paired singles that began in July. Little Jesus released their latest album, *El Show Debe Continuar*, in 2024.
