Ti West’s X horror trilogy, starring Mia Goth, is arriving on Hulu in August 2026, giving the franchise a new streaming home. The move highlights the continuing appeal of the series, which has won praise for Goth’s performances and its modern take on 1970s-style slasher cinema.

The trilogy began with 2022’s X, in which young filmmakers shooting an adult film at a rural Texas farmhouse become targets of its elderly owners. Made for $5 million, X earned about $15 million worldwide and holds a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score; it is noted for practical gore, themes of ageing and Goth’s dual role as protagonist Maxine and antagonist Pearl.
