Apple TV's science fiction series 'Murderbot' has assembled a prominent ensemble of 25 guest and recurring performers for its second season, currently in production. The cast includes Emmy-nominated actors, comedians, and stars from other television series, with names such as Michael Sheen, Wanda Sykes, Steve Buscemi, Topher Grace, and Patton Oswalt featured among the additions.

The expanded casting follows the show's successful debut, which prompted Apple to order a second season in July 2025. The series, based on Martha Wells' novels and developed by Chris and Paul Weitz, centres on Alexander Skarsgård as Murderbot, a self-aware security robot concealing its consciousness whilst protecting humans, despite preferring to consume futuristic entertainment and explore its own existence. The production is led by CBS Studios with an established returning cast that includes Noma Dumezweni, David Dastmalchian, and several recurring performers.
