Radar Festival has announced that composer Mick Gordon will make a world-first live appearance at its 2027 event. Gordon, known for his work on the DOOM, DOOM Eternal and Wolfenstein 2 soundtracks, will perform the DOOM music with a full live band and orchestra rather than as a DJ set or tribute, marking a notable crossover between video-game music and live heavy music performance.

The festival will take place from 30 July to 1 August 2027, with tickets due to go on sale on Friday 7 August. Gordon has also collaborated with artists including Bring Me The Horizon and Motionless In White; meanwhile, Radar Festival 2026 begins today with Thy Art Is Murder, Skindred and Animals as Leaders as headliners.
