Mike Epps Signs With Independent Artist Group for Representation (ESCLUSIVE)
Comedian and actor Mike Epps has signed with Independent Artist Group (IAG), expanding an existing partnership to cover his production company, Indiana 1 Productions, alongside representation across all other areas of his career, including film, television, comedy, literary work and endorsements. The move builds on a strong recent run for Epps, whose "We Them One's Comedy Tour" sold out several arenas, and follows the January premiere of his Netflix standup special "Delusional", which prompted the streamer to sign him for two further specials.
IAG had previously handled only Epps' live touring business before agreeing to broaden the relationship. Epps is known for roles in the "Friday" franchise, "The Hangover", "Sparkle", "Girls Trip" and "Dolemite Is My Name", as well as co-starring with Wanda Sykes in Netflix's "The Upshaws", which concluded after seven seasons earlier this year. Through Indiana 1 Productions, he has also produced projects including Hulu's 2025 series "Good American Family", starring Ellen Pompeo, with IAG chief executive Jim Osborne praising Epps' growth as "one of entertainment's most dynamic and enduring talents".
- Mike Epps expands IAG representation beyond touring to all areas

Independent Artist Group, known as IAG, is a Los Angeles-based talent agency that represents actors, comedians and other entertainers, handling deals across film, television, live performance and related work. Mike Epps is an American actor and stand-up comedian who has built a long career through comedy tours, films such as the "Friday" series and "Girls Trip", and television roles including Netflix's "The Upshaws". He also runs his own production company, Indiana 1 Productions, which has worked on television projects for other studios.
Until now, IAG's dealings with Epps were limited to his live touring work, with other parts of his career handled separately. Expanding that arrangement to cover his production company and his wider career is significant because it consolidates his representation under one agency, reflecting his recent momentum through sold-out tours and a Netflix comedy special.
