Miley Cyrus’ Hollywood Bowl Shows Draw 1.5 Million in Pre-Sale Queue

The Hollywood Reporter · 1 hour ago

Miley Cyrus has drawn 1.5 million people into the pre-sale queue for two upcoming shows at the Hollywood Bowl, organisers said, making them among the most in-demand tickets in live music at present. The scale of demand is striking given the 18,000-capacity venue, though it is not entirely unexpected as Cyrus has not undertaken a full concert tour in more than a decade, aside from a short 11-date festival run in 2021 and 2022.

The October shows will support Cyrus's tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, due out next week and marking her first release with Atlantic Records after years at Sony's Columbia Records. The announcement comes amid a period of change for the singer, following the death of her godmother Dolly Parton in August and her recent decision to go by the single name Miley, a move publicly backed by her father Billy Ray Cyrus. The album's title track, released as the lead single last week, has become the most-added song on US radio and debuted at number one on Spotify's Top Songs Debut chart.
