Industrial metal band Ministry have announced that their forthcoming album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), will be their final release. Founder and sole constant member Al Jourgensen said he is retiring the project after more than four decades, bringing an end to a band that helped popularise industrial metal and achieved mainstream success in the 1990s.

The album is due on 28 October via Cleopatra and contains 10 tracks, including the newly released single “Burned Out” and “We’re Still Here”, featuring former member Paul Barker. “Burned Out” addresses political and humanitarian crises through sampled news reports, while Ministry will support the release with a farewell tour in 2027, including dates in Manchester, Dublin, Nottingham and London.
