Actress Minka Kelly has responded warmly to Netflix's cancellation of "Ransom Canyon" after two seasons, sharing a video tribute to her romance with co-star Josh Duhamel's character on the show. The Texas-set romantic drama, which paired Kelly's Quinn O'Grady with Duhamel's Staten Kirkland as childhood friends turned star-crossed lovers, will not return for a third season, ending its run on a relatively settled note for the central couple.

Kelly marked the news with a message to fans reading "All good things must come to an end. And so it is," thanking viewers for "two beautiful seasons" and calling the cast and crew her "Ransom Canyon family." Unlike the first season's finale, which ended with Staten and Quinn splitting up, the second season concluded with the pair reunited and without a major cliffhanger, following a subplot in which Quinn briefly became engaged to someone else. The series was created and showrun by April Blair, with Duhamel, Kelly, Dan Angel, Bradley Gardner and Joe Fazzio serving as executive producers.
