Miranda Lambert has announced a one-night album release show at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth to celebrate the launch of her forthcoming record, Crisco. The venue, known for its long history and iconic dance floor, was chosen deliberately to match the album's concept, which draws on the shared roots of country dance-hall music and disco. The announcement matters to fans as it offers an intimate, symbolic first live outing for the new material at a venue Lambert has described as central to her creative vision for the project.

The show takes place on Tuesday, 6 October, shortly after Crisco's release, with tickets going on sale on Friday, 14 August at 10am CT. The 12-track album, out on 2 October, has already yielded several previewed songs, including the title track, "Till The Going's Gone," "Sunset Marquis," and a duet with Chris Stapleton called "A Song To Sing." Lambert has said the record blends heartbreak, honky-tonk and dance influences, describing it as an honest reflection of her varied musical tastes.
