MK Dons have re-signed forward Sam Nombe from Rotherham United for an undisclosed fee, bringing him back to the club five years after his departure. The move adds experience to a side newly promoted to League One and reflects Nombe’s stated desire to return to Milton Keynes.

The 27-year-old came through MK Dons’ academy before spells at Exeter City and Rotherham. Manager Paul Warne said Nombe was keen to rejoin and believed the team’s support could help him improve further; the club has not revealed the contract length.
