Three South Yorkshire postcodes won £1,000 prizes in the Postcode Lottery, with two in Doncaster and one in Rotherham. The awards were drawn over several days in October, bringing cash prizes to residents in Cantley, Skellow and Broom.

DN3 3PN in Cantley and DN6 8AT in Skellow won on Sunday 11 October and Monday 12 October respectively; S60 3ES in Broom, Rotherham, won on Friday 16 October. The lottery uses players’ postcodes for entry, costs £12.50 a month and offers daily £1,000 awards as well as weekly and monthly prizes. It says players have raised more than £1.8 billion for good causes.
