More than a gym: Inside CrossFit Braze and Gönn Café’s new Ecclesall Road home

Exposed Magazine ·

CrossFit Braze has moved to a larger home at 863 Ecclesall Road, bringing the gym together with Gönn Café, run by co-founder Oli Copping’s partner, Vicki Reif-Breitwieser. The venue is designed as a place to train, eat, work and socialise, reflecting the gym’s growth and its aim to build a community beyond scheduled classes.

The timetable includes CrossFit, Hyrox, gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, strength sessions and open gym, with coach-led classes capped at 14 people. Newcomers can take a four-week introductory course or book a one-to-one induction, and workouts can be adapted to different abilities. Gönn serves speciality coffee and breakfasts such as yoghurt bowls and overnight oats, with pre-orders intended to reduce food waste; the venue also has co-working space and plans for a physio room.
