Motionless in White frontman Chris "Motionless" Cerulli has reflected on the band's latest studio album, "Decades", in a new interview with the JJO Discover New Music Podcast, saying it is the first record he would change nothing about in hindsight. The remarks come more than a month after the album's release and offer fans insight into the demanding creative process behind it, underscoring how the band's approach to songwriting has matured over its career.

"Decades" was released on 17 July via Roadrunner Records and took between two and a half and three years to complete, a timeline Cerulli credited with allowing the band to fully realise its vision rather than settle for less. He said the extended process, partly inspired by lessons learned during the pandemic about the value of time, produced what he called the "special sauce" of the record. Cerulli also praised his continued collaboration with producer Drew Fulk, a close friend, noting that the album's focus on the band's history made it especially important to work with trusted, long-standing collaborators.
