Move Concerts CEO Phil Rodriguez: ‘I’m bullish about our business. Music and sports are the last tribal experiences.’

Move Concerts chief executive Phil Rodriguez says Latin America has become a major force in global touring, after decades on its margins, and remains confident about the sector’s prospects. He argues that live music and sport retain a rare ability to create shared, tribal experiences, while his company expands its stadium-focused touring and develops Latin artists, management and label operations.

Move has more than 30 stadium shows scheduled across the region in 2026, including tours by My Chemical Romance, Ed Sheeran, Iron Maiden, Slayer and Karol G. Sheeran’s Latin American tour has been split into northern and southern legs to reach less frequently visited markets such as the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ecuador and Peru before travelling to Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay; Move also co-promoted Bad Bunny’s 30-night San Juan residency in 2025.

  • Latin America is now a major touring market.
  • Move has over 30 stadium shows planned for 2026.
  • Rodriguez credits Bad Bunny’s carefully built career and residency.
