Swedish artist Murex has announced her debut album, 'Inventio', due for release on 25th September via London label Young. The announcement follows her signing to the label and the release of two earlier singles, marking a significant step forward for an artist Clash describes as a "studio savant" moving into wider recognition.

The ten-track album was built over the course of three years and is led by new single 'Flock Of Swans Fly In V's'. Murex has described the record as a process of reconnecting with her physical self, while acknowledging that identity remains fluid and hard to fully capture. Earlier tracks 'Massacre' and 'Hardness Of A Silverspoon' also feature on the tracklist alongside songs including 'The Spire', 'Biased' and closing title track 'Inventio'.
