Variety · 2 hours ago

Alicia Keys has signed with talent agency CAA across all areas, marking a shift after nearly 15 years with WME; she continues to be managed by Roc Nation. The move is one of several music industry updates reported by Variety, alongside Songwriters of North America opening nominations for its 2026 Emerging Songwriter Award and Prescription Songs signing Nashville-based producer Rich Harris.

Keys, whose 2001 debut album "Songs in a Minor" helped her sell an estimated 65 million records, is also the inspiration behind the Tony- and Grammy-winning Broadway musical "Hell's Kitchen" and a founding member of the nonprofit She Is the Music. Separately, SONA's Emerging Songwriter Award, presented with YouTube Songwriters, is accepting nominations until 14 August 2026, with five finalists to be named and a winner announced at the SONA Awards on 29 October 2026 in Los Angeles; eligible songwriters must have released at least three songs and had three outside cuts in the past two years.
