Mx Lonely Announce New EP Perfect House: Hear “March 16” (Feat. Caitlin Starr)
Shoegaze duo Mx Lonely have announced a new EP, Perfect House, just months after releasing their debut album All Monsters on the Julia's War label. The announcement comes with the release of lead single "March 16th," featuring Brooklyn musician Caitlin Starr, alongside a music video directed by Owen Lehman.
The band explained that the track began life as an unused instrumental from the All Monsters sessions, later developed with Starr and collaborators Jake and Rae during a spontaneous studio session. Lyrically, the song references the Brown University shooting of 13 December 2025, drawing on a friend of Starr's who was in lockdown at the time, and reflects on proximity to tragedy and cycles of violence. The four-track Perfect House EP, which also features Wiring, is due out 2 October via Julia's War, and the band will support it with an extensive UK and European tour running from late October through mid-November 2026.
