My Chemical Romance and Bring Me The Horizon have both notched new career-high positions on the UK Albums Chart, according to the Official Charts Company. The milestone comes as both bands revisit landmark records from their back catalogues, giving older releases a fresh commercial life through reissues and re-recordings.

My Chemical Romance's 15th anniversary edition of "Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys" has climbed to No.2, surpassing its original No.14 peak from 2010; the reissue includes a fully remastered tracklist plus nine bonus tracks making their streaming and vinyl debut. Bring Me The Horizon have also hit a new high, with "Repented", a re-recorded version of their 2006 album "Count Your Blessings", reaching No.6, a vast improvement on the original's No.96 peak. The news follows My Chemical Romance's two special shows in Manchester last weekend, where they performed the "Danger Days" album in full.
