My Chemical Romance Bring Out “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” at Hollywood Bowl: Watch

Consequence ·

My Chemical Romance opened a five-night Hollywood Bowl residency with a concert marking 20 years since *The Black Parade*. During “Teenagers”, dancers dressed as cheerleaders began with a routine before taking up rifles in a staged scene defending the band from militarised forces, then crawling off stage after being shot.

The residency is the final stop on the band’s 2026 “Black Parade Tour” and makes them the first act to play five consecutive nights at the venue. The run ends with Halloween shows featuring The Used on 30 October and Thrice on Halloween; the band will then play in Southeast Asia. An expanded *The Black Parade* reissue with live recordings and B-sides is due on 23 October, while frontman Gerard Way has recently said the band would like to make another album.
