My Chemical Romance Launch “The Black Parade” North American Tour in New York: Setlist + Video
My Chemical Romance kicked off the second North American leg of their theatrical "Black Parade Tour" at New York's Citi Field on Sunday evening, performing their 2006 album The Black Parade in full alongside a run of additional tracks. The show, which followed an opening set from Franz Ferdinand, featured the band's elaborate staging of the album complete with costumes, choreographed set pieces, guest vocalists, media-style propaganda parodies and pyrotechnics.
After the album performance, the band moved to a centre-stage B-Stage for a 10-song set spanning their wider catalogue, including "Bulletproof Heart" for the first time since 2022 and "Heaven Help Us" for only the third time in four years, alongside favourites such as "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "Helena". The tour continues through October across North America, with stops including Nashville, Washington D.C., Detroit and Los Angeles, and rotating support acts such as Pierce the Veil, Iggy Pop and BABYMETAL.
