My Vitriol to celebrate ‘Finelines’ at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire with InMe and Yourcodenameis:milo

NME · 3 hours ago

My Vitriol will mark the 25th anniversary of their debut album 'Finelines' with a headline show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, their biggest gig in over two decades. It will be supported by InMe and Yourcodenameis:milo, with the latter's involvement also hinting at a possible reunion for the Sunderland band, who have previously spoken of wanting to record new material.

The show takes place on Thursday 10 December, with tickets going on sale on Monday 24 August. 'Finelines', released 25 years ago and credited as the first "Nugaze" album, was given three stars by NME at the time. My Vitriol went on hiatus in 2002 before a brief 2005 reunion, and have periodically returned since, including a 2017 UK tour, while Yourcodenameis:milo have been on and off hiatus since 2007, most recently reforming for pandemic-delayed shows in 2023.
