Nanny on doomed Learjet made haunting final video call to sister before plane crashed as 911 calls from witnesses reveal utter panic

Anita Maria Cetina, a 24-year-old nanny travelling with the Robinson family, made a video call to her sister shortly before a Learjet crashed near West Palm Beach, Florida, killing all nine people aboard. Her sister said Cetina was happy about the trip to the Bahamas and loved the children and the family she worked for.

The jet was travelling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it crashed last Sunday; investigators are still trying to establish the cause. Those killed included the two pilots, the Robinson family’s two young children, and two friends. Witnesses’ 911 calls describe an explosion and smoke, while air traffic control audio records the co-pilot reporting a rapid descent and declaring an emergency.
