Influencer, model and entrepreneur Nara Smith has signed with talent agency CAA, expanding her representation as she moves further into publishing, television and film. The deal reflects the growing commercial reach of creators who have built large audiences through lifestyle content and are crossing into more traditional entertainment sectors.

Smith is known for softly narrated TikTok cooking videos, in which she makes elaborate meals and snack foods from scratch while wearing designer clothing. She has 12.5 million TikTok followers and 4.8 million Instagram followers, and will publish an 85-recipe cookbook, “Homemade”, through HarperCollins on 13 October, followed by a nine-city tour. She is also set to make her acting debut in Amazon MGM’s culinary thriller “Tyrant” and appear in a forthcoming season of “Project Runway”.
