Naruto Card Game First Look: Rules, Gameplay, And Cards Explained
Bandai has revealed its new Naruto trading card game, outlining a strategic duel built around deploying characters, managing Chakra and using Ninjutsu to disrupt an opponent’s plans. The announcement matters because it gives the long-running franchise a new globally released physical card game, drawing characters and material from Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Players build around a Leader card and use a 51-card deck, five Chakra cards and one Summon card; victory comes from reducing the opposing Leader’s Life to zero. Character cards form the fighting line, EX Characters offer more powerful options under specific conditions, and Chakra can activate face-down support cards, including Ninjutsu; the game is due for worldwide release in summer 2027 after trial sessions at events from July 2026.
