Nathan Fielder Premieres Secret New Elizabeth Holmes Documentary
Director Nathan Fielder has unveiled a surprise new documentary about disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, premiered by A24 at the Telluride Film Festival with almost no prior announcement. The film, titled "You Can See Everything", was co-directed with Lance Oppenheim and marks Fielder's first project since the second season of HBO's "The Rehearsal", generating significant buzz for its secretive rollout and subject matter.
According to its official synopsis, the documentary follows Holmes in the 34 days before she began her prison sentence, as she allows a sceptical film crew to record her, evolving into what is described as a "mind-bending three-year journey". Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors after Theranos raised almost $1 billion, and was sentenced in 2022 to more than 11 years in federal prison. The documentary is set for a wide release in October, alongside a newly released teaser trailer and poster.
