Greece beat Germany 1-0 in Augsburg, spoiling Jürgen Klopp’s first home match in charge and moving top of their Nations League group. The result was Greece’s first win over Germany in 11 meetings, while Germany remain third after a draw in their opening match.
Dimitrios Kourbelis scored in the 74th minute after Germany had dominated possession but made defensive errors. The Netherlands beat Serbia 2-1 through two goals from Mexx Meerdink, though Cody Gakpo went off injured and is due to have a scan. Portugal also won 2-1, defeating Norway with Gonçalo Ramos’s late chip to stay top of Group A4.
