2K Games has opened pre-orders for NBA 2K27 and announced its release schedule and cover athletes. The annual basketball game will arrive worldwide on 4 September 2026, while buyers of higher-priced editions can play a week earlier from 28 August.

San Antonio Spurs player Victor Wembanyama fronts the £69.99 Standard Edition, with Caitlin Clark on the £99.99 Deluxe Edition and former Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose on the £149.99 Ultra Edition. All pre-orders include 10,000 VC, while the Deluxe and Ultra editions contain 100,000 and 135,000 additional VC respectively, plus extra MyTEAM and MyCAREER items; the Ultra Edition also includes a Season Pass bundle.
