‘NCIS: Origins’ Brings Back Young Ducky and His Mother for a New Case in Season 3 Sneak Peek [Exclusive]

NCIS: Origins will bring back young Donald “Ducky” Mallard in its third episode, where he helps the Camp Pendleton team investigate the murder of a young Marine found on a beach. The case gives the prequel a chance to reconnect with a familiar character from the franchise as Gibbs and his colleagues face a puzzling death.

Adam Campbell reprises Ducky, accompanied by his mother Victoria, played by Caroline Lagerfelt, after she has been on a bar crawl with Vera and is embarrassedly escorted into the office. The episode also reunites young Gibbs with Tony DiNozzo for the first time on screen since 2016: Gibbs asks Tony, now NCIS director, to help find the person who shot him. “Return of the Mack” is scheduled to air on 20 October at 10pm ET/PT.
