NCT 127 have released the music video for "Piñata," giving fans a first taste of their upcoming seventh studio album, BLINGY, due out on 24 August. The release marks a significant moment for the K-pop group, as it is their first full-length album in two years and their first as a five-member act, following the departures of Mark Lee and Winwin and the temporary absence of Doyoung and Jungwoo, who are completing military service.

"Piñata," released via SM Entertainment and Virgin Music Group, blends rock guitars, funky bass and breakbeat percussion into a hip-hop-inflected sound, with its video depicting the remaining members—Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan—as "streetwise fixers" navigating Seoul at night. BLINGY will comprise nine tracks, and the group plans to preview it live by headlining KCON LA before a dedicated "Comeback Live Party" on 25 August, where they will perform the full album and share behind-the-scenes stories.
