Kosta Nedeljkovic has joined Rangers on a season-long loan from Aston Villa, with the Ibrox club holding a "conditional obligation" to sign the Serbia international permanently. The 20-year-old right-back becomes Rangers' 11th summer signing, bolstering a full-back position where manager Derek McInnes has been rotating three players so far this season.

Nedeljkovic moved to Villa from Red Star Belgrade in January 2024 before completing two loan spells with RB Leipzig, though injuries limited him to six Bundesliga appearances last season. He made 10 appearances for Villa across all competitions and will now link up with fellow Serbian international Vanja Dragojevic at Ibrox, joining a right-back group that also includes Dujon Sterling and Ross McCrorie.
