Neil Perry Says His Sister Kimberly Perry Pushed Him Out Of The Band Perry
Neil Perry has publicly alleged that his sister, Kimberly Perry, pushed him out of The Band Perry after he objected to her husband, Johnny Costello, joining the group. His claims concern both the band’s changing line-up and the loss of his financial stake, access to its platforms and involvement in a project he helped build over many years.
Neil performed with siblings Kimberly and Reid from 2005 until the band’s 2023 hiatus. He says discussions in 2024 left him with limited options and that he was later terminated; the group returned in July 2025 with Kimberly, Reid and Costello, before Reid subsequently left. Perry is now launching a new project, WOLVESofJUNE, and says the dispute and its aftermath inspired his new music.
