Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts have announced their second album, Second Song, alongside its 11-minute title track. The release continues Young’s work with the Chrome Hearts after their 2025 debut, Talkin to the Trees, and follows the resolution of a trademark dispute with the clothing company Chrome Hearts.

The seven-track album is due on 18 September via Reprise and includes five new songs plus two previously unreleased recordings from the 1960s. It was recorded at Shangri-La Studios with the same production team as its predecessor: Lou Adler, Neil Young and Niko Bolas.
