Netflix has commissioned Arizona Hot, a working-title ensemble reality series set in Arizona, as it continues to expand its unscripted programming. The show will follow ambitious recent graduates navigating work, friendships, romance and rivalries, reflecting renewed competition among streamers and broadcasters for lifestyle-focused reality formats.

The series is being made by Bright Spot Content and Ain’t That Something Entertainment, with Sandy Varo Jarrell and casting director Matt Solomon executive producing. Netflix’s recent reality slate includes shows set in New Jersey, Calabasas, Palm Beach and featuring influencer Alix Earle; the commission follows Hulu’s success with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which has been renewed for 20 additional episodes.
