Netflix Reports Steady Viewing Time Growth But Scales Back Engagement Reports
Netflix reported that global viewing rose modestly to 97.7 billion hours in the first half of 2026, but said it will stop publishing its detailed engagement report twice a year. From 2027, the report will be released annually, allowing the company to keep quarterly earnings focused on revenue and operating profit while still publishing weekly top-10 rankings.
