Netflix’s 10/10 Crime Thriller Officially Wraps Filming on a Bigger Season 2
Filming on Season 2 of Netflix’s crime thriller *Dept. Q* wrapped on 24 October, bringing the series closer to returning with Matthew Goode as troubled detective Carl Morck. The first season attracted more than 27 million views and spent six weeks in Netflix’s global top ten, making the quick return a sign of the show’s success.
The new season adapts *Disgrace*, the second novel by Jussi Adler-Olsen, and expands the investigation beyond Edinburgh into Scotland’s elite circles. Its case centres on a brother and sister murdered 20 years earlier, whose killer confessed, but whose file is reopened. Production used more than 100 locations around Scotland, and the returning cast is joined by Aisling Franciosi and James Corden.
