Netflix’s ‘Little House On The Prairie’ Gathers Steam In Second Week As ‘The Hawk’ Opens Under Par

Deadline · 2 hours ago

Netflix's new adaptation of Little House On The Prairie has grown its audience in its second week on air, climbing to the top of the streamer's English-language TV chart even after a modest debut. In contrast, Will Ferrell's golf comedy The Hawk opened below expectations, landing outside the top two despite its starry cast, illustrating the unpredictable nature of streaming debuts versus word-of-mouth growth.

Little House On The Prairie, based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's novels, jumped from third to first place with 9.8 million views, more than 50% up on its 6.4 million opening week. The Hawk, starring Ferrell alongside Molly Shannon, Fortune Feimster, Jimmy Tatro and Luke Wilson, debuted at number three with 4.8 million views, well behind comparable sports comedy Running Point, which opened with 9.3 million views in February 2025. Meanwhile, thriller miniseries I Will Find You remains Netflix's biggest hit, adding 8.8 million views to pass 94 million overall, putting it on course to challenge Bridgerton Season 3 and The Queen's Gambit among the platform's most-watched English-language series.

  • Little House On The Prairie rose to No.1 with 9.8M views in week two
  • Will Ferrell's The Hawk underperformed, opening at No.3 with 4.8M views
  • I Will Find You stays dominant, nearing 94M views after five weeks
