Netflix’s New 6-Part Action Thriller Is Too Good To Miss for ‘The Night Agent’ Fans

Collider · 2 hours ago

Netflix has released Elite Force, a six-episode French action-thriller being touted as an ideal watch for fans of The Night Agent while they await that show's final season. The series centres on the GIGN, France's elite tactical police unit (comparable to the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team), whose headquarters come under attack, forcing officers to uncover the culprits while facing threats from both inside and outside the organisation.

The story follows David Caron (Tomer Sisley), a senior GIGN officer planning to retire, and his 25-year-old godson Max (Tristan Zanchi), who decides to join the force despite a promise David made to Max's mother to keep him out. David deliberately makes Max's admission process gruelling, but Max proves a natural and is assigned to David's own division, prompting David to delay retirement. During the recruits' celebration, a bomb explodes in the unit's car park, injuring David, Max and their colleague Christophe (Thierry Neuvic), setting the series' central mystery in motion.
