Apple TV has greenlit a drama adaptation of William Gibson's seminal 1984 novel 'Neuromancer,' featuring Callum Turner as Case, a skilled computer hacker pulled into a network of digital crime and corporate espionage. Created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard—who directs the pilot—the series co-stars Briana Middleton as an assassin partner and explores themes from Gibson's groundbreaking work that established much of modern cyberpunk fiction.

The ten-episode production, greenlinted in early 2024, assembles an ensemble cast including Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard and Clémence Poésy. Produced through Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content, the series will premiere on Apple TV on January 22, 2027, with new episodes rolling out weekly until March 19. Gibson's original novel, which won the Hugo, Nebula and Philip K. Dick awards, became the first instalment of the Sprawl trilogy and continues to influence contemporary science fiction.
