Neurosis performed live for the first time in seven years, headlining the Fire In The Mountains festival with new vocalist Aaron Turner of Sumac and Old Man Gloom. Turner joined the influential post-metal band following the 2022 departure of former frontman Scott Kelly, who admitted to abusing his wife and children. The show marks a significant step in the band's rebuilding, coming shortly after the surprise release of a new studio album.

The gig took place at Red Eagle Campground in East Glacier Park, Montana, on land belonging to the Blackfeet Nation, with the set presented by youth suicide prevention charity Firekeeper Alliance. Neurosis played a 10-song set drawing mainly on their new record, An Undying Love For A Burning World, alongside older tracks including "The Tide" (2001), "Lost" (1993), "Distill (Watching the Swarm)" (2007) and "End Of The Harvest" (1999).
