Nevertel have released their second single of 2026, "LAST BREATH," a melodic modern metal track described as building tension before erupting into a soaring, catchy climax. The song follows on from earlier 2026 release "OTHERSIDE" and represents what the band call a summation of their sound to date, pointing towards the musical direction they intend to pursue.

Frontman Raul Lopez said the track was written while the band were snowed in during the Nashville ice storm earlier this year with collaborator Gianni Taylor, and explores the emotional turmoil of self-doubt while trying to keep pushing forward in life. The accompanying music video, created with Jeremy and Alex Kouvatsos of Blackwolf Imaging, visualises these internal "mind games" through scenarios depicting the band members fighting their way back to reality.
