New ‘Avatar’ Animated Series at Paramount+ Lands Fall Premiere Date, Releases Teaser
Paramount+ will launch Avatar: Seven Havens on 9 October, marking the first new animated series in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe for more than a decade. The announcement, accompanied by a teaser, expands the long-running franchise with a story set after The Legend of Korra.
The 26-episode series follows a young Earthbender who learns she is the new Avatar, only to be viewed as humanity’s potential destroyer. Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, it features a voice cast including Saheli Khan, Aishu Devan, Darren Barnet and Dee Bradley Baker, and is produced by Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios.
